It’s not the nuclear advances that made Israel attack Iran

We've been hearing how Iran is just months away from building several atomic bombs for years. Has anything really changed this time?

Last night Israel decide to make a move against the regime in Tehran, with a surprise attack on its military and, primarily, nuclear installations, as well as some of its top leaders.

The first wave of attacks seems to have been a resounding success, with multiple chiefs of the armed forces and IRGC killed alongside several nuclear scientists. Iran's air-defences were swiftly neutralised, allowing the IAF complete air superiority over the country, as it pounded military bases and research facilities used for enriching uranium, on the way to building an atomic bomb (or a few).

However, contrary to official narratives, the reason Israel chose to attack Iran right now has little to do with how close it is to getting a nuclear weapon.

We have heard the same warnings for years.
