UN report on genocide in Gaza is just propaganda since one detail has always proved it’s not happening

The most unique "genocide" in history.

The lead picture for this article was taken on October 21, 2023 – just two weeks after the butchery of October 7 perpetrated by Hamas and before Israel Defence Forces even set foot in the Gaza Strip.

At the time IAF was only conducting its first airstrikes against Hamas and yet Palestinian organisations around the world were already actively peddling the narrative of genocide at the hands of evil Zionists, even as their compatriots participated in and cheered one of the worst terror attacks in history.

The effort to paint the victims as the perpetrators was well underway – a fact few people appear to remember two years later.

But the debate about whether Israel is committing genocide in Gaza or not is entirely pointless, because anybody with half a brain should be able to recognise that one thing disproves it above all else:

It would be the first genocide in history where the alleged victims are holding hostages and are refusing to release them.

It is also the only genocide in history that could end instantly – today, tomorrow, any single day in the past 2 years, if only Hamas freed the Israeli captives and laid down its arms.

Comparing Israelis to Nazis is an insult to common sense and the victims of the Holocaust but it might be useful to emphasise the contrast – although I know it is not going to register in the brains of demented left-wingers allied to global Islamofascists.

When Germans built the concentration camps they didn't ask about anybody's opinion, they didn't hide their intentions, they did not abide by any laws or rules. Their goal was organised, industrialised mass extermination of millions of people.

This is how genocides happen – there's no aid lingering at the border because UN refuses to distribute it due to a conflict with the party in control. Nobody is making air drops of supplies permitted by the alleged perpetrators and they are certainly not warning the civilian population about the impending airstrikes or offensives, not to mention creating evacuation corridors or refugee camps for the displaced.

When the Khmer Rouge butchered intellectuals and minorities, when Hutu chased the Tutsi with anything they could get their hands on, when Nazis shipped millions in cattle cars into gas chambers, when Stalin starved millions of Ukrainians, none of the victims started their suffering, none held hostages and in no case did the murderers care about their fate, let alone ensure access to water, food, medical supplies and so on.

It also means it's very easy to verify if Israel is driven by a genocidal intent: just release the hostages, stop shooting, and see what happens.

If Israel continues its bombardments, if it refuses access to crucial supplies or food, if it prevents reestablishment of water supplies and electricity then you may claim its intent is genocide of Palestinians.

And then the whole world would have a reason to sanction Israel into bankruptcy.

But we all know – and Hamas knows that too – that if conditions were met the war would come to an end, and Zionists could no longer be blamed for anything. So, it's better to hold the hostages and continue playing the propaganda game with Palestinian blood.

To be fair to Hamas, who can blame them?

Given the scale of gullibility in Europe and at the UN, happily participating in the victim-blaming of Israel (which neither wanted nor started this war) is it any wonder the terrorists don't really want it to end?
